Job Description
We are seeking an experienced RN Nurse Manager to lead the Medical Telemetry Unit (32–36 beds). This high-impact leadership role is responsible for ensuring quality patient care, staff development, and operational excellence. The unit is supported by CNCs, and the Nurse Manager reports directly to the Director of Nursing. This role offers competitive pay, career advancement opportunities, and relocation assistance.
Key Responsibilities
Provide 24/7 leadership and accountability for the Medical Telemetry Unit.
Ensure compliance with nursing standards, hospital policies, and regulatory requirements.
Promote evidence-based practice and drive quality improvement initiatives.
Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes.
Mentor, coach, and support staff through education and professional development.
Manage department budgets, staffing, and resource allocation.
Foster a culture of patient-centered care, teamwork, and safety.
Qualifications
Required:
Current Florida RN license or Compact RN license.
Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
BLS certification (or obtain within 30 days of hire).
ACLS certification (or obtain within 30 days of hire).
Minimum 1 year of recent acute care hospital experience.
Minimum 2 years of recent Charge Nurse or CNC experience in an acute care setting.
Preferred:
BSN or higher in Nursing.
Previous Nurse Manager or leadership experience in Telemetry/Med-Surg.
