VR Video Game Tester
Testronic is a leading software quality assurance provider with over 20 years of experience delivering award-winning services to top video game publishers such as Funcom, Machine Zone, Riot Games, Square Enix, and Tencent Games.
We are hiring full-time, work-from-home VR Video Game Testers to join our global testing team. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates seeking an entry point into the video game development industry, with on-the-job training provided.
Compensation: $12.00 – $14.50 per hour, based on relevant VR gaming experience
- Execute manual testing on VR/AR devices and supported hardware (computers, VR headsets) to ensure products meet quality standards.
- Perform end-to-end scenario testing for VR applications and games.
- Provide ongoing test execution support to the developer community.
- Document and maintain test cases, test plans, and testing environments.
- Investigate, document, and report software bugs; verify bug fixes.
- Collaborate with engineering and scenario production teams to develop and refine testing strategies.
- Maintain QA tools, databases, and best practices.
- Contribute to the improvement of test frameworks and processes.
Requirements
- Ability to work from home with a reliable computer, VR headset, and high-speed internet connection.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with VR/AR devices and gaming platforms preferred.
- Excellent communication skills for reporting and collaborating with remote teams.
- Previous QA or game testing experience is a plus, but not required (training provided).
