The Opportunity: We are seeking a highly motivated, results-driven Inside Sales Representative (ISR) to join our growing North American sales team. This role is crucial for driving pipeline generation and revenue growth by expertly qualifying inbound leads and proactively engaging potential customers for our flagship AI-driven MDR and Security Automation solutions. Key Responsibilities:
Opportunity Qualification: Diligently qualify inbound leads (MQLs) from marketing campaigns and effectively convert them into qualified sales opportunities (SQLs/SALs) for the Account Executive team.
Outbound Prospecting: Strategically conduct targeted outbound prospecting via cold calling, email, and social selling (e.g., LinkedIn Sales Navigator) to penetrate key accounts and generate new pipeline.
Product Knowledge: Develop and maintain a deep understanding of TENEX.AI’s AI-native MDR and Security Automation value proposition, being able to articulate it clearly and concisely to prospects.
Discovery & Needs Analysis: Conduct high-level discovery conversations with IT and Security professionals to understand their current cybersecurity challenges and position TENEX.AI’s solutions as the preferred alternative.
Sales Process Handoff: Ensure a smooth, professional handoff of qualified opportunities to the regional Account Executives, providing comprehensive context and next steps.
Renewals Initiative Google Cloud Security: Will work closely with assigned Google Cloud Security Renewal Team to mine new opportunities for TENEX. These include build and deploy plus managed service opportunities.
CRM Management & Collaboration
Data Integrity: Meticulously track all sales activities, pipeline status, and customer interactions in the CRM to ensure accurate reporting and forecasting.
Marketing Alignment: Provide direct feedback to the Marketing team on the quality of leads and effectiveness of campaigns to optimize demand generation efforts.
Continuous Improvement: Actively participate in sales training, 1:1 coaching, and team meetings to continuously refine sales techniques, presentation skills, and industry knowledge.
Required Qualifications and Skills
Experience: Proven experience in an Inside Sales, Sales Development Representative (SDR), or Business Development Representative (BDR) role, preferably within the B2B SaaS or Cybersecurity sector.
Communication: Exceptional verbal, written, and active listening skills, with the ability to engage decision-makers effectively over the phone and via email.
Work Ethic: Highly motivated, persistent, and resilient, with a strong desire to meet and exceed monthly/quarterly targets.
Technology Savvy: Experience working with a CRM and sales engagement tools
Learning Aptitude: Demonstrated ability to quickly learn complex technical concepts, specifically related to cybersecurity, cloud, or managed services.
Education: Bachelor's degree is preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
Direct experience in selling or working with Managed Security Service Providers (MSSPs) or Managed Detection and Response (MDR) services.
Familiarity with cybersecurity terminology such as SIEM, XDR, Threat Intelligence, and security automation.
Experience working in a high-growth or startup technology environment.
