- Ability to perform on-air and live-stream segments
Responsibilities
- Capture high-quality video and audio for news, sports and feature stories under daily deadlines
- Operate IP-based live units (TVU) and support satellite/microwave live truck operations when assigned
- Shoot and edit stand-alone pieces and collaborate with reporters and producers on team packages
- Participate in editorial meetings, pitch story ideas and use creative production techniques to enhance storytelling
- Deliver live shots and on-air/live-stream performance when required
- Manage content in CMS and prepare media for broadcast and digital distribution
- Maintain attention to detail in shooting, editing and handling material gathered by others
Education
- BA/BS in journalism, communications or related field preferred
- Or equivalent years of newsroom experience
