Overview

At St. Luke’s, our dedicated team of Hospital Behavioral Health Lead RNs are critical in providing exceptional, patient-centered care and leadership. St. Luke's Nampa Medical Center is in the West Treasure Valley. We’re dedicated to partnering with local nonprofits to improve the health of people in this rapidly growing and diverse region, from the more populated cities to the smaller, more remote rural communities.

 

What you can expect from this role

 

  • Work as Team Lead RN based in the Emergency Department, but expertise in Behavioral Health throughout the Hospital
  • Teach/mentor RNs in de-escalation techniques, restraint protocols, safety, psychopharmacology and other behavioral health topics throughout hospital
  • Supports Code Grays events; may conduct debriefings with staff
  • May do chart audits for restraint documentation
  • Training and orientation provided for this role
  • Continuing education scholarships - including conferences, certification, licensure
  • Certification pay available
  • Part-time (0.6 FTE) EVENING shift position 1130-0000; 2 x 12 hour shifts/week, rotating weekends and holidays

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's of Nursing Degree
  • Experience: 3 years' RN experience; acute care nursing experience and Behavioral Health nursing experience highly preferred
  • Licenses/Certifications: Current RN licensure from the State of Practice and Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Provider Certified through American Safety and Health Institute, American Heart Association, or American Red Cross.
