What you can expect from this role

We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to support our Colon and Rectal Surgery Clinic in Boise. We are dedicated to providing advanced care for acute and chronic health conditions of the colon, rectum, and anus, and specialize in colon and rectal surgery. Our services include advanced laparoscopic/minimally invasive surgery and diagnosis and management of colon and rectal cancer, as well as treatment for conditions such as diverticular disease, hemorrhoids, abscesses and fistulas, continence disorders, and other benign and malignant anorectal conditions.

• Full-time: 0.9-1.0 FTE (typically four 9-hour shifts + one 4-hour shift a week)
• No nights, weekends, or St. Luke’s observed holidays!
• Sign-on bonus eligible for new hires!
• Certification pay (ex. OCN, CNOR, CGRN)
• This is a Primary RN position to pair with an experienced surgeon
• Day to Day duties: Rooming patients, triaging patient phone calls, assist in office procedures, surgery scheduling, template and outlook schedule management
• Provide pre- and post-operative support, chemotherapy coordination, symptom management, patient education, and emotional support, while collaborating with the multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless and compassionate care delivery
• Ability to work closely with provider to ensure provider is organized and efficient

Minimum qualifications for this role

• Education: Nursing Degree
• Experience: One (1) + years’ RN experience
• Licenses/Certifications: Current RN licensure from the State of Practice and Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Provider Certified through American Heart Association, American Red Cross or American Health & Safety Institute
• Preferred: colorectal, oncology, surgical or outpatient experience
