Skills
- Full‑stack development experience with 3+ years building web applications
- Proficiency in one or more object-oriented or systems languages (Python, C#.NET, Go, Java, Scala)
- Experience building single page applications (Angular, React, or similar)
- Familiarity with version control (Git), CI/CD, build and deployment pipelines
- Production experience with Docker and Kubernetes
- Experience with databases (PostgreSQL, SQL Server, or similar) and data modeling
- Experience with messaging/streaming systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ, ActiveMQ)
- Knowledge of testing, monitoring, and performance profiling best practices
- Experience with UNIX-like systems and infrastructure automation (Terraform, Ansible, Puppet)
- Familiarity with build systems and package managers (Make, Bazel/Pants/Buck, Gradle, pip, npm)
Responsibilities
- Design and develop highly reliable, production-grade software used across the company
- Create new applications and prototypes to improve manufacturing, operations, and customer-facing services
- Own end-to-end product development: architecture, implementation, testing, deployment, and monitoring
- Collaborate across teams on architecture, design, and code reviews to drive technical direction
- Analyze user problems deeply to craft efficient, maintainable solutions and iterate quickly
- Profile and optimize application performance and reliability in production environments
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Math, or related scientific discipline OR equivalent experience
- 7+ years professional software development experience without a degree, or 5+ years with a relevant degree
