- Hands-on experience with SMT and PCBA process engineering
- Ability to program and operate pick-and-place, reflow, and test equipment
- Experience performing DOE and process optimization for SMT yield
- Troubleshooting skills for production issues while maintaining design integrity
- Familiarity with DFM principles for circuit board assembly and test
Responsibilities
- Execute new product introduction builds and initial PCBA line setups
- Program, load, and operate automated SMT/PCBA equipment
- Design and install custom fixtures to ensure smooth process flow
- Train technicians to run and troubleshoot complex manufacturing machines
- Triage non-conforming product and lead corrective and preventive actions
- Perform process development, validation, and DOE for new models
- Define maintenance schedules and specify equipment requirements
- Provide DFM feedback and collaborate closely with engineering teams
- Identify continuous improvement opportunities for yield, performance, and cost
Education
- High school diploma or equivalency certificate plus 2+ years hands-on manufacturing experience OR
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, math, or science
