Our client is a leading technology-driven company operating at massive scale to connect businesses and customers in real time. To support their rapid growth, they are seeking a Senior DBT Developer who will strengthen their modern data infrastructure and help transform raw data into actionable insights that power critical business decisions.

About the Role

We are looking for a Senior DBT Developer with strong experience in Snowflake and Sigma Computing to join the Data team. You will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining robust data transformation pipelines, implementing scalable data models, and creating high-impact Sigma dashboards to empower stakeholders with timely and reliable insights. This role requires strong SQL expertise, hands-on DBT proficiency, and the ability to collaborate across engineering, analytics, and business teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Data Pipeline Development & Management: Design, develop, and maintain scalable ELT/ETL workflows using DBT, ensuring performance and reliability for high-volume data.

• Data Modeling & Architecture: Implement and optimize schemas and SQL queries to support business requirements while ensuring consistency, integrity, and quality.

• Business Intelligence & Reporting: Build and manage Sigma dashboards and reports, collaborating with analysts and stakeholders to meet business intelligence needs.

• System Monitoring & Troubleshooting: Configure monitoring systems for replication and performance, troubleshoot pipeline issues, and optimize system enhancements.

• Documentation & Best Practices: Maintain technical documentation (data flow diagrams, data dictionaries, model logic) and enforce version control and CI/CD practices for DBT projects.

What You Need to Succeed in This Role

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.

• 5+ years of experience in data engineering, analytics, or related fields.

• Advanced SQL proficiency with ability to write complex transformations.

• Mandatory hands-on experience with DBT (Cloud or Core).

• Proven experience with Snowflake and Sigma Computing.

• Familiarity with ELT/ETL tools (Fivetran preferred).

• Experience developing pipelines in cloud environments (Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift).

• Strong understanding of data modeling concepts (star schema, normalization, aggregations).

• Experience with Git/version control workflows and working knowledge of Python (other languages a plus).

• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
