Responsibilities
- Provide psychiatric evaluation, diagnosis, and medication management for an assigned caseload
- Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications consistent with state regulations
- Participate in weekly office hours and peer consultation led by the Medical Director
- Collaborate with clinical leadership and matched clients to build and maintain an ideal caseload
- Document clinical encounters and treatment plans in the provided EHR/telehealth platform
- Maintain scheduled clinic days (minimum two days per week) and manage patient communications
- Work with the administrative team on care coordination while clinical decisions remain autonomous
Education
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in Psychiatric-Mental Health Nursing (PMHNP)
- Active PMHNP license in West Virginia
- Prescriptive authority (state-level) and familiarity with controlled substance prescribing regulations
