Technical Accounting and Financial Reporting Manager
Skills
- Active CPA license with strong GAAP knowledge
- Deep experience with SEC reporting and regulatory requirements
- Proven technical accounting research and documentation skills
- Experience managing revenue recognition, equity accounting, and CECL
- Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills
- Project management and time-management abilities to meet deadlines
Responsibilities
- Prepare and review periodic internal and external financial statements and related footnotes ensuring GAAP and regulatory compliance
- Research and document technical accounting matters and lead adoption of new accounting standards
- Serve as subject matter expert for revenue recognition, equity, and CECL accounting
- Collaborate with internal teams (Legal, FP&A, Engineering) to align on financial policy and transaction accounting
- Coordinate with internal and external auditors to support audits and reviews
- Maintain and improve accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls including SOX-related activities
- Complete detailed disclosure checklists and support SEC filing activities as needed
- Provide technical guidance and training to accounting team members
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (required)
- CPA certification (required)
