Staff Operations Engineer, Industrial Engineering
Skills
- Capacity planning and factory/warehouse optimization experience
- Proficiency in Lean, Six Sigma, and structured problem-solving (A3, 8D, RCA)
- Data analysis skills using Excel and SQL; experience with data visualization tools (Tableau or equivalent)
- Familiarity with 2D/3D design tools and discrete-event simulation software (e.g., FlexSim)
- Strong communication, leadership, and change management skills to influence cross-functional teams
Responsibilities
- Identify, analyze, and drive improvements in safety, quality, productivity, logistics, and ergonomics using data, simulation, and Lean/Six Sigma methods
- Lead cross-functional initiatives to design and implement operational standards, capacity plans, factory/warehouse layouts, and material flow strategies
- Develop and maintain operational metrics, dashboards, and audit tools to monitor and improve manufacturing and distribution performance
- Create standard operating procedures and workflow designs that enhance workforce efficiency while ensuring safety and ergonomic compliance
- Recommend and execute system and process enhancements, including automation and data integrity improvements to support scalable operations
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Operations Research, Supply Chain, or related field
