I bombed it the first time because I treated it like a regular IQ test. Don’t do that. It’s more like a combo of a game, a personality test, and a logic sprint.
Once I realized it’s about how you process info under pressure and make decisions that reflect their culture, I approached it differently. Practice helps. I passed on the second try and now I’m in final rounds
I’ve prepped candidates for P&G assessments before. here's the deal: They’re looking for cognitive agility + values alignment. It’s okay if you don’t ace every game, consistency and learning ability matter.
Same!! I just took it too and idk how to feel lol. The memory one really threw me off,, I couldn’t focus on the red square AND the pattern at the same time 💀 I watched a few YouTube vids to get the vibe of the games before I retook it. Felt way more confident the second round
don’t give up yet!
Yeah, I’ve taken it and honestly the hardest part for me was time pressure, especially on the Grid and Digit games.
My advice:
Switch = pattern recognition, practice makes a huge difference.
I failed the first time, studied for 3 days, passed the second. Totally doable.
Just took it last month! Biggest tip: don’t overthink the personality/SJT part just answer consistently and try to reflect leadership, ownership, and teamwork values. For the game-based parts, speed matters but so does accuracy. Digit and switch challenges get harder the more you get right.
I used Practice Aptitude Tests to prep
From what I heard, they want quick thinking more than accuracy. Don’t overthink every question, just keep moving.
I’m applying to P&G and tried the online test already. Not sure if I passed tbh, a few parts were pretty challenging. Anyone taken it recently and have tips or know what to focus on? Would love any advice before I give it another go
