Every week it’s a new buzzword to dodge saying LAYOFF. Transparency died and was restructured into synergy ✌️
I heard “voluntary transition period” once. translation: we’re not firing you, but if you leave now we won’t stop you and we won’t pay severance either lol
yup. “streamlining operations,” “team optimization,” “workforce adjustment”… it’s layoffs with extra steps and zero accountability
Is it just me or are companies getting real sneaky with how they “reduce headcount” these days? Like… hiring freeze here, “restructuring” there, next thing you know half the team’s gone.
But it’s not a layoff, right? 😂 Curious what other bs terms y’all seen them use.
