Site Planner

The Site Planner 1 is primarily responsible for completion of lot fit requests, redraws, and supporting the New Home Starts department as needed.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

·       Complete lot fit requests.

·       Complete site plan redraws as assigned.

·       Set up preliminary site plans from surveys or plats on AutoCAD.

·       Maintain an understanding of current Perry Homes design standards, code and community guidelines, as they apply to lot fits and redraws.

·       Responsible for quality and accuracy of all drawings.

·       From time to time must complete projects on very short notice with extreme time constraints.

Qualifications

·       High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s degree in Computer Drafting or Design preferred.

·       Requires at least 1 year of experience in basic drafting methods, and an understanding of symbols and techniques of drawing via AutoCAD.

·       Basic knowledge of Architectural Language pertaining to residential construction.

·   Demonstrated computer skills including a working knowledge of AutoCAD and MS Office products, including Outlook, Excel, and Word.

·       Ability to read blueprints, surveys, Metes & Bounds descriptions.

·       Experience in civil drafting preferred.

·       The ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide using whole numbers, fractions and decimals, to compute percentages, and to perform basic algebra, geometry and trigonometry.
