Your Career
As a Principal AI Engineer in the Office of the Chief Product Officer: Innovation Team, you will shape the next generation of AI-powered security and developer-productivity solutions. You will lead exploratory research, rapid prototyping, and cross-functional pilots that fuse state-of-the-art foundation models with Palo Alto Networks’ security platforms.

You will join a small, fast-moving Innovation Team inside the CPO’s office that partners with Product Engineering, Unit 42 research, and Field CTOs to incubate breakthrough capabilities before scaling them company-wide.
Compensation Disclosure
The compensation offered for this position will depend on qualifications, experience, and work location. For candidates who receive an offer at the posted level, the starting base salary (for non-sales roles) or base salary + commission target (for sales/commissioned roles) is expected to be between $147000/YR- $237500/YR. The offered compensation may also include restricted stock units and a bonus. A description of our employee benefits may be found here.
