Role Overview
We’re looking for a Technical Writer (Contract) to develop and improve documentation for both our Enterprise Platform and our Open Source Platform. You’ll work closely with engineering, research, and product teams to translate complex technical concepts into clear, accessible documentation for enterprise users, developers, and open-source contributors.
This is a 3–4 month contract role starting January 1st.
What You’ll Do
Write and maintain technical documentation for Oumi’s Enterprise Platform (architecture, APIs, deployment guides, integrations).
Improve and expand open-source documentation, including onboarding guides and contributor workflows.
Collaborate with technical teams to gather information and ensure accuracy.
Establish documentation structure, style guidelines, and best practices.
Create content that’s intuitive for both enterprise users and open-source developers.
What You’ll Bring
Familiarity with Python, PyTorch, and Generative AI concepts (LLMs, data synthesis, fine-tuning, LLM-as-a-Judge)
Experience writing documentation for developer platforms, infrastructure systems, or complex software products.
Ability to understand and explain technical concepts clearly.
Experience working with Git-based documentation workflows and tools such as markdown or static site generators.
Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a collaborative mindset.
