Skills
- 6+ years professional software product development experience in an Agile environment, ideally on SaaS products.
- Hands-on experience with functional programming languages (e.g., Clojure, Haskell, F#, Lisp).
- Proficiency with cloud infrastructure and modern dev tooling (AWS, Docker, CI/CD, Git).
- Strong testing, code review, and software engineering best practices.
- Excellent written and verbal communication for virtual collaboration.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain high-quality, well-tested code across the application stack (front-end and/or back-end).
- Adopt and advocate modern tools, processes, and standards to improve developer productivity and software quality.
- Collaborate closely with Product and Design teams as features move through the value stream.
- Participate in code reviews, pairing, and mentorship to raise team technical capability.
- Operate and contribute to CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and cloud infrastructure (e.g., AWS, Docker).
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues while prioritizing reliability and maintainability.
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
