NVIDIA is now looking for a data engineer to assist with designing and building ETL pipelines and data products that help us better understand how we can serve the diverse needs of our developer community. In this role, you will work with product development, program management, and analytics & insights teams to understand their business requirements and deliver solutions that reveal insights to product owners and executives across the company. You will be aggregating and integrating data from multiple sources to track SDK downloads and other activities, which will help us understand what developers need and improve our developer programs.
What you’ll be doing:
Implementing, testing, and maintaining data management systems involving large data sets collected from content delivery networks (CDNs), and other sources (e.g. GitHub)
Building data processing applications with core design principles of scalability, maintainability, security, and coding best practices
Developing and implementing best practices for building data products, including data mining, data modeling, and access interfaces (e.g. SQL views, API services, etc)
Implementing company-wide data policies to protect Personally Identifiable Information (PII) data
Assisting in the design and implementation of robust error handling, fault-tolerant systems, and monitoring and alerting pipelines under the guidance of senior engineers. Developing automated test routines that perform unit, functional, and system testing
Working directly with data analysts and product marketing leads to diagnose and resolve issues that arise in day-to-day data operations
What we need to see:
BS degree in Computer Science, or equivalent experience
3+ years experience in data engineering/analytics using SQL, Python, regular expressions
Experience working on 3rd-party integrations, including REST API integrations and ETL standard processes
Familiarity with source code repository workflows
Ways to stand out from the crowd:
Background with Spark SQL and Databricks
Background working with Salesforce APIs and data
Experience with CI/CD pipelines
Experience working with Amazon Web Services (AWS), particularly AWS Lambda

Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions. The base salary range is 108,000 USD - 184,000 USD for Level 2, and 136,000 USD - 212,750 USD for Level 3.You will also be eligible for equity and benefits.
