Job Description

Hiring Event for Respiratory Therapist at Northwestern Medicine Catherine Gratz Griffin Lake Forest Hospital

When: Tuesday, November 4, 2025 / 11:00am - 3:00pm

Location: 1000 North Westmoreland Road, Lake Forest, IL 60045 - Main Entrance parking and entry

Registration is preferred by submitting your resume. Walk-ins are also welcome.

*You may be eligible for a sign-on bonus depending on the specific role.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)- National Board of Respiratory Care
  • Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP)- Illinois Department of Professional Regulation (within three months of hire)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) through American Heart Association
  • Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) – American Academy of Pediatrics (within three months of hire)
  • Associate Degree in Applied Art/Science (AAS)

Preferred:

  • Certified Pulmonary Function Technologist (CPFT)- National Board of Respiratory Care
  • Registered Pulmonary Function Technologist (RPFT)- National Board of Respiratory Care
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) through American Heart Association
  • Neonatal/ Pediatric Specialist (NPS)- National Board of Respiratory Care
  • Bachelor’s Degree (BA/BS)
