Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems is currently hiring a Supply Chain Planning Manager 2 to join our team of qualified, diverse, individuals in the GSC Planning, Requirements & Delivery organization. This position will be located onsite in Palmdale, California.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure vertical and horizontal integration of Global Supply Chain Schedules through strategic planning and execution

  • Provide early visibility into purchase requisition requirements release constraints and material excess review

  • Integrate metrics requirements for the Requirements Planning Team

  • Communicate program schedule deviations and ensure all impacts are coordinated with internal/external customers prior to implementation and execution

  • Lead a team of individuals in a dynamic, fast-paced Program environment with responsibilities including rapid requirements execution, standard parts ordering, scrap/spare/replacement planning and serve as a GSC liaison to the Program Operations and GSC Execution IPTs

Basic Qualifications:

  • Must have 5 years experience in supply chain management, project management, sustainment, proposals or procurement with a Bachelor’s Degree; 3 years with a Master’s degree; 10 years of experience in supply chain management, project management, sustainment, proposals or procurement

  • Must have experience with Bills of Materials

  • Must have previous experience in Supply Chain

  • At minimum, an active DoD Secret level clearance is required to apply and to start the role, with the ability to obtain and maintain Special Program Access within a reasonable amount of time as determined by the Company to meet its business needs

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Active DoD Secret level clearance

  • EVMS experience

  • CAM experience

  • Experience with Advanced Planning and Material Requirements Planning

  • Current Special Program Access

Salary Range: $142,200.00 - $213,400.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
