- Network migration experience (Cisco IOS/NX-OS to Arista)
- Automation with Python and Ansible, RESTful API integration
- Hybrid cloud networking (Azure, AWS, GCP) and SD-WAN
- Team leadership and supervisory experience
Responsibilities
- Architect, implement, and maintain Arista-based Layer 2/3 spine-leaf network designs using EOS and CloudVision
- Design, configure, and optimize Fortinet NGFW and SD-WAN solutions and manage FortiOS policy and HA
- Lead migration planning and execution from Cisco (IOS/NX-OS) to Arista platforms
- Supervise, mentor, and review work of network engineering team members to ensure quality delivery
- Drive automation and integration using Python, Ansible, and Fortinet REST APIs
- Collaborate with cybersecurity, infrastructure, and cloud teams to enforce Zero Trust segmentation
- Troubleshoot complex network and security incidents leveraging FortiManager and FortiAnalyzer
- Document designs, runbooks, and operational procedures; provide status and technical guidance to stakeholders
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience preferred
- Relevant industry certifications required and/or strongly preferred (see qualifications)
