Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive literature reviews including OECD and FDA guidance.
- Select and validate appropriate positive and negative assay controls.
- Develop and streamline in-vitro biocompatibility assays for medical device extracts.
- Establish and maintain mammalian cell cultures.
- Design and implement assays utilizing plate readers and confocal microscopy.
- Ensure reproducibility and identify assay endpoints and limitations.
- Assist with laboratory equipment setup, calibration, and qualification.
Education
- B.S. degree in biology, chemistry, or a related field.
