Staff Engineer
Skills
- Proven experience with React and Node.js (including NestJS) for building web applications.
- Strong knowledge of REST APIs and relational databases (PostgreSQL).
- Experience with Kafka or other streaming/data pipeline technologies.
- Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and deploying service-based architectures.
- Familiarity with AWS cloud services and operational monitoring/observability.
- Comfortable owning features across frontend and backend, including testing and release processes.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable full-stack features across the V2 platform using the company tech stack.
- Own segments of the business domain end-to-end: requirements, design, implementation, testing, release, and operational monitoring.
- Build and maintain microservice/service-based architectures, containerization, and deployment pipelines.
- Collaborate with product, design, and stakeholders to plan roadmaps and translate customer needs into technical solutions.
- Mentor engineers through code reviews, technical guidance, and knowledge sharing to raise team technical bar.
- Ensure reliability, security, and observability of services in production.
Education
- B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science or related engineering field, or equivalent work experience.
