Morgan Stanley Services Group, Inc. seeks a Director, Software Engineer III in Alpharetta, Georgia
Develop software for the test automation architecture team. Create new enhancements to test new frameworks and solutions. Build automated test frameworks, harnesses and unique automated testing tools
to aid functional testing teams. Design software applications, testing APIs, back-end services, and UI automation to work with in-sprint automation teams, driving projects, performing code reviews, building tools to analyze pass rates, and work closely with product, business & development teams on a daily basis. Write multi-threading and thread safe code. Work with HTTP APIs, REST and SOAP. Telecommuting permitted up to 2 (two) days per week.
Salary:
Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $167,000 and $167,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs.
Requirements:
Requires a Master’s in Information Technology and Management, Computer Engineering, or a closely related field of study and two (2) years of experience in the position offered or two (2) years as a Java Scala Developer, Software Engineer, or a closely related occupation. Requires two (2) years of experience in each of the following skills: Software development lifecycle and testing; architecture design including Model-View-Controller (MVC) structure; Rest web services; Java; Groovy Script; Python; Test Driven Development (TDD); Junit; Mockito; Docker; JSON; Maven Build Tool; SQL; Jira; and Elasticsearch.
