Customer Intake Specialist

Overview

Mountain Home Services is looking for an outgoing, detail-oriented person to join our growing home services team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys connecting with people, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and can confidently shift between focused tasks and engaging phone conversations with potential clients.

 

The ideal candidate will have experience in customer service or lead coordination, a proactive mindset, and the ability to manage a variety of administrative responsibilities, including permit coordination as they arise.

Qualifications

Do I Have What It Takes?

  • Experience in customer service, lead coordination, or administrative support.
  • Strong communication skills—both verbal and written.
  • High attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively.
  • Comfortable using CRM platforms and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Friendly, professional demeanor with a positive attitude.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, or other home services is a plus.
  • Familiarity with permitting processes and local regulations.
  • Bilingual abilities are a plus.

Responsibilities

What Will I Do?

  • Lead Coordination & Client Engagement:

    • Serve as the first point of contact for incoming leads via phone, email, and web inquiries.
    • Qualify leads and schedule appointments for estimators or service teams.
    • Maintain and update CRM systems with lead details, follow-ups, and status changes.
    • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth handoff and follow-through.
    • Track lead conversion metrics and provide regular updates to management.

    Administrative Support (Varied & Evolving):

    • Perform a variety of changing administrative tasks to support client intake and operational needs.
    • Coordinate and submit permit applications for HVAC and other home service projects.
    • Assist with scheduling, document preparation, and internal communications as needed.
    • Stay flexible and responsive to shifting priorities in a dynamic work environment.
