What You’ll Do

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, user-facing features on time.

• Lead detailed design, implementation, and unit testing across both frontend and backend.

• Build, maintain, and improve distributed, scalable backend services running on Kubernetes.

• Develop clean, maintainable, and fast front-end and back-end code with modern tooling.

• Participate in code reviews and help elevate team engineering standards and best practices.

• Contribute to product experimentation, A/B tests, and analytics instrumentation to support growth initiatives.

• Support and debug production issues, including participation in on-call rotations.

What We’re Looking For

• 3+ years of software engineering experience in full-stack or backend/product-facing roles.

• Strong proficiency in TypeScript, Go, Python, or Java (proficiency in at least one; willingness to work across the stack).

• Experience with SQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, etc.).

• Solid understanding of distributed systems, REST APIs, and backend microservices.

• Strong product instincts — you enjoy collaborating on user-facing features and thinking about growth.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally.

• Strong problem-solving abilities and the ability to quickly learn new technologies.

• Fluent with modern AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Cursor, Claude).

Nice to Have

• Experience with SaaS or PLG/self-serve products.

• Familiarity with A/B testing, funnel analysis, or product analytics tools (Amplitude, Mixpanel, etc.).

• Experience implementing or consuming event tracking pipelines.

• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, AWS, and cloud-native tooling.

• Exposure to large-scale distributed systems serving millions of users.

• Prior startup experience in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

• Open-source contribution experience.
