Office and Administrative Support Workers

Location: Remote (U.S., Canada, New Zealand, UK, or Australia)

Pay: $15–$35/hour

Commitment: Hourly

We are looking for an Office and Administrative Support Worker to write, review, and validate prompt-based questions designed to train AI.

Your expertise in task coordination, document processing, data entry, and interdepartmental support will ensure each prompt and response reflects practical administrative workflows used across business, nonprofit, and institutional settings. You’ll help train AI models to understand how general office support professionals manage daily operations, resolve requests, and maintain internal processes.


You are a good fit if you:


  • Have over 3+ years of professional experience in office or administrative support roles
  • Have a bachelor's degree or an associate degree in business administration, communications, or related field
  • Are currently based in the U.S., Canada, New Zealand, UK or the Australia
  • Have a strong background in areas such as organizing internal documentation, processing operational forms, supporting customer-facing workflows, maintaining spreadsheets or logs, updating records systems, and tracking team tasks or supplies
  • Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Have strong attention to details


Role Highlights:


  • Flexible workload: 10–20 hours per week, with potential to increase to 40 hours
  • Fully remote and asynchronous—work on your own schedule
  • Minimum duration: 1–2 months, with potential for extension


Role Start Date:


  • This role will begin in mid to late-July with applications reviewed on a rolling basis


Interview Process:


  • You will take an AI interview where you will be asked questions about your background in administrative task support, workflow tracking, and documentation handling
  • You will share your screen and write a detailed prompt to generate an AI response about a real world administrative scenario
  • You will evaluate and compare LLM outputs to determine which response is more effective and accurate
  • Applicants will be selected based on their performance in the AI interview and on the accuracy and quality of their evaluations


Compensation and Legal Details:


  • You will be legally classified as an hourly contractor for Mercor
  • We will pay you out at the end of each week via Stripe Connect
