Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented BIM/CAD Manager to lead the design and delivery of engineering projects that are vital to the development of the minerals supply chain. In this pivotal role, you will own BIM and CAD workflows, system configuration, and cross-discipline coordination from early-stage design through construction documentation.

You will be instrumental in implementing and maintaining BIM and CAD standards, training teams, and ensuring project success using industry-leading tools such as AutoCAD Plant 3D, Revit, and related platforms. Your expertise will help drive innovation and efficiency across our engineering operations.

What You’ll Do

• Lead BIM/CAD Standards: Develop, implement, and manage BIM and CAD standards, templates, and workflows across all engineering disciplines.

• Configure Project Environments: Set up and maintain project environments in AutoCAD Plant 3D, Revit, and other BIM/CAD platforms.

• Integrate Design Elements: Manage the integration of PFDs, P&IDs, plot plans, and 3D piping models into comprehensive project design environments.

• Enhance Productivity: Oversee the use of Data Manager and Smart P&ID tools to drive productivity and ensure data consistency.

• Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with engineering leads to define BIM execution plans and ensure alignment with project requirements.

• Coordinate Third-Party Models: Oversee the exchange and incorporation of third-party equipment models and drawing packages into Mariana’s design systems.

• Support and Train Teams: Guide internal teams and external EPC partners on BIM/CAD best practices, quality control, and provide training and troubleshooting support.

What You’ll Bring

• Experience: 5+ years in BIM and CAD management roles within industrial, infrastructure, or plant design environments.

• Technical Expertise: Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD Plant 3D, with working knowledge of Revit, Navisworks, and other 3D modeling software.

• 2D & 3D Skills: Strong background in 2D drafting (PFDs, P&IDs, plot plans) and proven 3D modeling capabilities (piping layout, equipment modeling, isometric generation).

• Platform Administration: Experience administering BIM/CAD platforms, including standards development, configuration, and technical support.

• Collaboration: Excellent communication skills and a proven ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
