Business Analyst

The Business Analyst is primarily responsible for driving strategy, execution, and process improvement for generosity initiatives within YouVersion. This role partners closely with other cross-functional teams to identify areas of opportunity, gather requirements, optimize workflows, and ensure solutions are implemented effectively. The Business Analyst supports both the planning and execution phases of projects, leads discovery and quality assurance, and identifies how tools, processes, and data connect to drive better results. This role partners with leaders to shape long-term strategies by identifying scalable, data-informed approaches to donor generosity and internal operations. The Business Analyst builds and presents clear business cases to senior leadership that focus on outcomes and translates complexity into actionable next steps that move initiatives forward. This role provides solutions that equip teams and ministries to further Life.Church’s mission and to reach people for Christ.

YouVersion was created by the local church in 2007 and remains a ministry of Life.Church today. At Life.Church, our mission is to lead people to become fully devoted followers of Christ. Our team is committed to reaching people worldwide through innovative technology. And YouVersion is one of the ways we get to do that. Life.Church is a multi-site Christian church meeting in the United States and globally at Life.Church Online.

We wholeheartedly believe a daily rhythm of seeking intimacy with God has the power to transform lives. That’s why YouVersion creates biblically based experiences that encourage and challenge people to seek God. We hope everyone in our community is on an active journey to become who God made them to be, abiding in Him and drawing closer every day.

  • Facilitate decision-making by connecting team insights, surfacing trade-offs, and clarifying next steps.
  • Build business cases grounded in real-world outcomes to help prioritize projects and guide investment decisions.
  • Translate analytical findings into actionable business recommendations, connecting data to ministry and operational outcomes.
  • Use reporting and analysis to evaluate initiative performance, with a focus on translating insights into action.

  • Lead meetings, working sessions, and presentations with key stakeholders, including senior leadership.
  • Translate complex insights and organizational needs into clear communication that supports team alignment and decision-making.
