Lazer Commerce is a specialized team within Lazer focused on crafting scalable, high-performing commerce experiences across the Shopify ecosystem. We partner with forward-thinking brands and agencies to design and implement custom storefronts, headless architectures, and robust backend integrations. From theme development to complex ERP and OMS workflows, our engineers bring deep expertise in Shopify, modern frameworks, and commerce infrastructure to help clients launch, scale, and optimize their digital retail experiences.

Who You Are

• Experienced technology writer and researcher with a proven track record creating content in tech-focused industries, particularly within Commerce/Shopify ecosystem, who investigates industry trends and generates original, high-quality insights across commerce, crypto, fintech, and AI topics

• Strategic content developer who creates content strategies aligned with business objectives, tracks performance metrics, and adjusts approaches based on data to improve engagement and drive sales processes

• Versatile multimedia creator capable of writing across all formats—from long-form thought leadership to social media updates—while leveraging design tools to produce rich, visual content experiences that resonate with enterprise audiences

• SEO-savvy communicator who optimizes content for search engines and writes with a slightly cheeky yet professional tone that resonates with enterprise decision-makers

• Detail-oriented collaborator who partners effectively with delivery and design teams, edits meticulously for accuracy and consistency, and manages multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines

• AI-fluent and platform-proficient professional who leverages AI tooling to accelerate content creation and has hands-on experience with platforms like Webflow CMS (bonus)

What You'll Do

• Create and publish diverse content including blog posts, case studies, product launch materials, thought leadership pieces, testimonials, and commentary on commerce news and tech events across commerce, Shopify, crypto, fintech, and AI topics

• Own and manage social media presence by developing platform-specific content strategies, crafting engaging posts, and maintaining consistent brand voice across all channels to strengthen brand positioning

• Produce multimedia content experiences by combining written copy with visual design elements to deliver rich, engaging materials that support marketing campaigns and sales conversations

• Collaborate cross-functionally with delivery and design teams to develop campaign-aligned content, incorporate stakeholder feedback, and ensure all materials meet brand standards and quality expectations

• Optimize content performance by implementing SEO best practices, analyzing engagement metrics, maintaining production schedules, and refining strategies to maximize reach and impact across all lines of business
