  • Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans utilizing sensory

integration, motor learning principles, and adaptive strategies.

  • Design and modify classroom environments, learning materials, and assistive

technology to promote student participation and independence.

  • Collaborate extensively with parents, teachers, related service providers, and

school administrators to ensure coordinated care and optimal outcomes.

  • Provide consultation and training to educational staff on positioning, adaptive

equipment use, and sensory strategies.

  • Maintain meticulous and timely documentation of all services, progress, and

outcomes in compliance with DOE regulations and Knowledge Road standards.

Actively participate in IESP/IEP meetings, offering expert occupational therapy

insights and evidence-based recommendations.

to start.

Schedule & Location

This is a full-time, school-day position with a schedule that aligns with the NYC DOE

calendar. You will be providing services on-site at one or more schools in Queens,

with specific assignments based on student needs. Hours/week are driven by IESP/IEP

mandates; caseload may vary by assignment. Typically ~20-30 hours/week depending
