Knowledge Road is seeking a full-time Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join
our team and provide essential psychological services to students in NYC Department
of Education (DOE) schools. With an unprecedented need for mental health support in
schools and a critical shortage of qualified professionals, your expertise is urgently
needed to help students navigate complex emotional and behavioral challenges. This

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with Knowledge Road, you will have the
autonomy to deliver individualized interventions, working collaboratively with school
teams and families to support student mental health and academic achievement.
Responsibilities
As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with Knowledge Road, you will:
Provide direct, high-quality individual and group counseling services to students,
as mandated by their Individualized Education Service Programs/Individualized
Education Programs (IESP/IEP).
Address a comprehensive range of social, emotional, and behavioral concerns,
including anxiety, depression, trauma, ADHD, autism spectrum disorders, and
complex psychological conditions.
Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations to inform treatment
planning and educational recommendations.
Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans utilizing various
therapeutic modalities tailored to the unique developmental and cultural needs
of each student.
Collaborate closely with parents, teachers, school administrators, and other
mental health professionals to create a holistic and supportive learningenvironment.
Maintain meticulous and timely documentation of all services, progress, and
outcomes in compliance with DOE regulations, HIPAA requirements, and
Knowledge Road standards.
Actively participate in IESP/IEP meetings, offering expert psychological insights
and recommendations to guide student progress and educational planning.
Qualifications
Must-Have:
NYS license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
Master's degree in Social Work from a CSWE-accredited program.
Minimum of 2 years of experience providing psychological services to children
and adolescents.
Proficiency with electronic documentation systems and teletherapy platforms.
NYC DOE fingerprinting and vendor status required or willingness to obtain prior
to start.
Preferred :
Experience in a school-based setting or educational environment.
Specialized training in child and adolescent therapy modalities (e.g., CBT , DBT ,
play therapy, family therapy).
Experience with psychological assessment and testing.

(LCSW) positions in Manhattan.
Schedule & Location: This is a full-time, school-day position with a schedule that follows the NYC DOE calendar. You will be providing services on-site at one or more schools in Manhattan,
with specific assignments based on student needs. Hours/week are driven by IESP/IEP
mandates; caseload may vary by assignment. Typically ~20-30 hours/week depending
on placements.
Compensation
$65/hr (1099).
