CLIENT'S REQUIRED QUALIFICIATIONS:

* A Master's degree in occupational therapy from an accredited program.

* Valid NJ Occupational Therapist license from the Occupational Therapy Advisory Council.

* NJ DOE "School Occupational Therapist" certificate/endorsement.

* Must have school-based experience.

SUMMARY OF CLIENT'S DESCRIPTION OF THIS OPPORTUNITY:

* Conduct assessments / evaluations of students' fine motor, sensory, perceptual, self-help, and adaptive skills to identify OT needs.

* Develop individualized educational/intervention plans and IEP goals in collaboration with IEP team.

* Deliver direct OT services (therapeutic interventions) that are educationally relevant.

* Consult with teachers, paraprofessionals, parents, and school staff; provide training and carry-over strategies.

* Maintain documentation: progress notes, service logs, IEP reports, equipment inventories, and attend required meetings.
