• Accountabilities
• Lead the design, development, and implementation of new features and enhancements for existing software platforms.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to a team of developers, promoting coding best practices and high-quality deliverables.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including R&D and product management to ensure timely and successful delivery of projects.
• Manage project scoping, scheduling, and progress tracking while proactively identifying and resolving blockers.
• Research, prototype, and design solutions to modernize and upgrade existing systems, ensuring alignment with industry standards.
• Champion continuous improvement in software development tools, processes, and code quality.
• Contribute to open-source projects when appropriate and represent the technical team in external initiatives.

• Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related quantitative field.
• 8+ years of enterprise-level software development experience with proficiency in C and Java.
• Strong understanding of system architecture, design, and interfacing with proprietary and third-party systems.
• Experience leading technical teams and delivering complex projects on schedule.
• Proficiency in multiple operating systems (Linux, Windows, or AIX) and software development tools.
• Familiarity with CI/CD processes, software automation, and version control systems such as Git/Gerrit.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
• Self-motivated, adaptable, and collaborative with the ability to learn complex systems independently.
• MVS experience and understanding of software automation tools are desirable.
