In this role, you will contribute to the development of next-generation backend infrastructure, powering scalable services and platforms. You will work closely with a global team of engineers, shaping core systems that enhance platform performance, reliability, and user experience. This position provides hands-on opportunities to design, implement, and maintain robust backend services, leveraging modern frameworks and cloud technologies. You will influence platform architecture, participate in technical discussions, and ensure high-quality code delivery through testing and documentation. Ideal candidates are collaborative, proactive, and eager to solve complex challenges while contributing to a dynamic and innovative engineering environment.

• Accountabilities:
• Develop scalable and robust backend services using NodeJS, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including client and backend developers, to design and implement platform-level solutions.
• Submit, review, and address architecture proposals from various contributors to maintain a cohesive platform design.
• Participate in technical forums, present designs, and share engineering best practices with other teams.
• Ensure code quality through unit testing and documentation for mid-size to large feature implementations.
• Maintain and troubleshoot backend services, supporting business and maintenance teams.
• Communicate project estimates, schedules, and dependencies effectively within the team.

• Requirements:
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience.
• 3+ years of experience building, maintaining, and enhancing backend services.
• Hands-on experience with NodeJS, JavaScript, and TypeScript in a production environment.
• Experience developing and utilizing GraphQL APIs.
• Knowledge of cloud solutions, preferably AWS services such as S3, DynamoDB, and Redis.
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to collaborate across distributed teams.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly document designs and code.
• Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience developing RESTful and/or gRPC APIs.
• Familiarity with server optimizations for low-latency, scalable systems.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and load testing tools such as K6.
• Exposure to Server Side Rendering frameworks (e.g., NextJS) or other server-side languages.
• Previous experience working in Agile development environments.
