Senior Project Manager

This role is designed for an experienced project management professional responsible for leading complex utility-scale gas transmission projects. The Senior Project Manager will oversee planning, execution, and delivery across all project elements including scope, schedule, budget, risk, quality, and resources. You will guide internal teams and external contractors, ensuring projects meet high standards of performance and client satisfaction. The role requires strategic thinking, strong leadership, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Travel may be required to support projects nationally, offering exposure to diverse sites and operational challenges. This is a high-impact position where you will directly influence project success, client relationships, and long-term business outcomes.

• Accountabilities
• Lead planning and execution of high-pressure gas transmission pipeline projects.
• Provide guidance and direction to internal project teams and external contractors.
• Develop cost and schedule options, including contingencies based on identified risks.
• Monitor project performance, resource utilization, and adherence to budgets, schedules, and quality standards.
• Manage project risks, issues, and contract change orders from proposal through completion.
• Facilitate regular project meetings and stage gate reviews with stakeholders.
• Maintain strong client relationships and support ongoing business development efforts.

• Requirements
• Minimum 5 years of project management experience in the gas utility industry, specifically with gas transmission projects.
• Technical degree preferred (engineering or related field); PMP certification is a plus.
• Understanding of environmental assessments, permits, and state regulatory oversight.
• Strong analytical, presentation, and management skills with proven leadership capabilities.
• Experience managing large, multi-discipline programs, multi-office projects, or multiple concurrent projects.
• Excellent relationship development, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to self-direct workload, prioritize effectively, and function under tight deadlines.
• Experience in risk management, conflict resolution, and problem-solving in complex projects.
• Willingness and ability to travel as needed to support project execution.
