Senior Frontend Engineer, dealops

This role provides a unique opportunity to lead the frontend engineering of a high-impact, AI-powered revenue optimization platform. You will be responsible for designing and implementing complex, dynamic user interfaces that replace manual pricing and quoting workflows with elegant, reliable, and high-accuracy systems. Working closely with design and product teams, you will transform messy legacy workflows into intuitive, performant React + TypeScript applications. The position emphasizes both systems thinking and visual precision, providing direct ownership of critical product surfaces. You will also collaborate with backend engineers and leverage AI-driven features to deliver exceptional user experiences in a fast-paced startup environment.

• Accountabilities:
• Architect and implement complex, dynamic product surfaces such as pricing workspaces, workflow builders, approval engines, and dashboards.
• Build high-accuracy, interactive React + TypeScript applications with multi-step flows and dependency-heavy surfaces.
• Integrate AI-driven interfaces including inline LLM suggestions, guided workflows, and structured overrides.
• Design, implement, and maintain reusable frontend components and foundational patterns across the platform.
• Collaborate closely with designers, product managers, and backend engineers to iterate rapidly and deliver reliable, elegant solutions.
• Participate in design system implementation, prototyping engines, and UX/motion enhancements.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to the overall frontend engineering culture and best practices.

• Requirements:
• 5+ years of frontend engineering experience building complex, data-dense UIs.
• Deep expertise in React and TypeScript, with strong systems-thinking skills (component modeling, state management, performance optimization).
• Experience shipping high-stakes, high-accuracy UIs and working hand-in-hand with designers through rapid iteration.
• Ability to understand backend data flows; SQL knowledge is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to architect elegant solutions for complex challenges.
• Nice to Have:
• Experience with Tailwind CSS.
• Backend experience with Node, Express, or similar frameworks.
• Exposure to AI-driven interfaces or LLM-guided UIs.
• Experience with dashboards, internal tooling, or workflow builders.
• Design system implementation experience.
• Previous leadership or mentoring experience.
