The Senior Data Scientist will play a key role in designing and building advanced AI solutions that enhance analytics platforms and risk management products. Working in a collaborative environment with other data scientists, product managers, and developers, you will lead projects from concept through deployment, applying machine learning to solve complex, high-impact business problems. This role involves developing robust data pipelines, testing predictive models, and optimizing algorithms to drive actionable insights. The position offers the opportunity to work with large-scale datasets and cutting-edge AI technologies while mentoring junior team members and influencing the company’s analytical direction.

• Accountabilities:
• Lead AI and machine learning projects, gathering requirements, designing models, testing solutions, and delivering robust systems.
• Design, implement, and maintain machine learning pipelines including data ingestion, feature engineering, modeling, prediction, explanation, deployment, and monitoring for overfitting.
• Conduct research and develop analytical and optimization methods to improve platform capabilities and product performance.
• Identify opportunities to apply advanced analytical methods to solve complex business problems and present insights to stakeholders.
• Provide technical direction, mentoring, and guidance to junior team members.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business questions into statistical and machine learning solutions.

• Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science with a Data Science emphasis; 5+ years of data science experience with a focus on machine learning.
• Minimum 3 years of professional experience using Python for data analysis and machine learning.
• Strong experience with SQL for data processing and analysis.
• Applied knowledge of statistical methods, regression modeling, decision trees, random forests, SVMs, clustering, and ensemble methods.
• Ability to analyze structured and unstructured datasets and apply results to system and product design.
• Experience with experimental design, predictive modeling, optimization, and causal inference.
• Familiarity with Linux distributions and software development environments.
• Excellent communication skills, data visualization abilities, and collaborative mindset.
• Leadership experience and capability to mentor and guide team members.
• Experience in both R&D and software product development is a plus.
