This role offers the chance to shape the backend of a high-scale SaaS platform powering a globally recognized observability and analytics ecosystem. You will work on developing and maintaining a multi-tenant, scalable backend that supports both open-source and proprietary applications. The position requires hands-on coding, operational excellence, and collaboration across teams to deliver seamless, reliable experiences for millions of users worldwide. You will also contribute to architecture, mentor engineers, and actively participate in on-call rotations to ensure system stability. Accountabilities:

·         Develop new features and enhance the operational performance of backend systems.

·         Participate in architectural design discussions, author design documents, and review peers’ contributions.

·         Collaborate across teams to align work with product roadmaps and customer needs.

·         Mentor and support team members, fostering knowledge sharing and technical growth.

·         Own customer experience through participation in weekday and weekend on-call rotations.

·         Ensure changes are deployed safely and efficiently in a high-scale, multi-tenant environment.

·         Continuously improve backend processes, reliability, and scalability while addressing distributed systems challenges.

·         Strong coding skills with hands-on operational experience maintaining systems you have built.

·         Experience building and operating SaaS platforms at scale, including multi-tenancy, data isolation, and high availability.

·         Familiarity with distributed systems and their common challenges.

·         Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective collaboration and documentation.

·         Ability to work across teams, aligning technical solutions with broader organizational goals.

·         Pragmatic mindset with the ability to handle ambiguity and prioritize progress over perfection.

·         Proficiency in Golang or willingness to learn it.

·         Eligibility to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

·         Competitive base salary: $154,000–$193,000 USD (plus RSUs for ownership in the company’s success).
