Project Engineer (Remote - US)

As a Project Engineer, you will lead medium to large-scale environmental projects, ensuring safe, cost-effective, and high-quality execution from start to finish. You will manage all aspects of project delivery, including scope, schedule, cost, safety, and client communication, while coordinating cross-functional teams and external vendors. This role requires a strong technical background, attention to detail, and excellent organizational skills to oversee project design, inspections, testing, and logistics. Accountabilities:

• Develop detailed project plans, schedule milestones, and track progress through regular status reports.
• Identify project risks and escalate issues appropriately to maintain project timelines and budgets.
• Manage all commercial aspects of projects, including budgets, expenditures, payment schedules, and purchase terms.
• Serve as the primary contact for clients and stakeholders, managing relationships and ensuring satisfaction.
• Coordinate logistics for timely delivery and installation of project components.
• Review product designs and engineering drawings for compliance with technical standards and client requirements.
• Conduct inspections and testing of parts and equipment, including on-site field service as needed.
• Support knowledge transfer within the project team to enhance capabilities and efficiency.

• Bachelor of Science in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of project management experience.
• Knowledge of the gas abatement industry, specifically wet scrubbers, is desirable.
• Proficient in reading, understanding, and creating P&IDs and PFDs for liquid process flow equipment.
• Experience with sizing pumps, piping, and ducting; aptitude for mechanical design.
• Familiarity with CAD engineering drawings and 3D modeling software such as SolidWorks.
• High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Understanding of heat and mass transfer principles for wet scrubbers is a plus.
• Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
