Oracle Cloud Technical Architect (Remote - US) - job 1 of 4

This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for an Oracle Cloud Technical Architect in the United States.

As an Oracle Cloud Technical Architect, you will lead the design, development, and deployment of complex Oracle Cloud solutions across multiple functional areas, including ERP and SCM. You will work closely with both functional teams and client IT groups to ensure technical quality, manage integration projects, and provide hands-on guidance to development teams. This role offers a highly collaborative environment where you can mentor other team members, influence architectural decisions, and contribute to cutting-edge enterprise cloud initiatives. Your expertise will directly impact the success of multi-pillar Oracle Cloud implementations while driving innovation and operational excellence.

Accountabilities

• Maintain holistic technical quality across Oracle Cloud solutions, serving as the primary technical interface with functional teams and client IT departments.
• Design, prototype, and oversee the development of integrations, reports, conversions, and extensions.
• Delegate technical tasks and provide guidance to development teams, including offshore and nearshore resources.
• Drive issue resolution and enforce project scope, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality solutions.
• Analyze technical options and communicate implications to both technical and executive stakeholders.
• Author and maintain technical documentation, including integration, conversion, and extension approaches.
• Train and mentor team members, ensuring adherence to best practices and project requirements.

• 10+ years of experience in large-scale, multi-pillar Oracle Cloud implementations.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC).
• Strong expertise in Oracle Integration Cloud, Oracle Visual Builder Cloud Service (VBCS), and Oracle Database.
• Extensive experience in Oracle Database and PL/SQL development.
• Proven track record with at least 4 Oracle Cloud multi-pillar projects.
• Functional knowledge in ERP and SCM domains.
• Excellent analytical, critical thinking, and communication skills.
• Ability to work remotely and independently while supporting clients and teams.

• Willingness to travel.
• Preferred: EDI and Oracle B2B framework experience, Redwood reporting, Jira or SharePoint familiarity, and active Oracle Cloud certifications.
