Manager, Technical Accounting (Remote - US)

As a Manager in Technical Accounting, you will take the lead on interpreting and implementing complex accounting standards, ensuring financial reporting is accurate, compliant, and aligned with industry regulations. This strategic position requires a deep understanding of IFRS and US GAAP, and offers the chance to work cross-functionally with internal finance teams to drive process improvements. Ideal for a CPA with Big 4 experience, this role combines analytical rigor, regulatory knowledge, and leadership to support the growth of a forward-looking, tech-driven organization.

Accountabilities:

• Monitor developments in accounting standards (IFRS and US GAAP) and evaluate their impact on financial reporting.
• Conduct in-depth research on complex accounting topics including revenue recognition, lease accounting, business combinations, and stock-based compensation.
• Lead the development and upkeep of internal accounting policies in line with regulatory updates and business needs.
• Provide expert guidance to internal teams and serve as the go-to advisor on technical accounting matters.
• Review and support the preparation of financial statements and disclosures, ensuring accuracy and full compliance with reporting standards.
• Collaborate with Finance Operations to implement process improvements for reporting efficiency and consistency.
• Support ad-hoc accounting projects and transition new policies into business-as-usual (BAU) reporting.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
• CPA certification (or international equivalent) is mandatory.
• 5+ years of technical accounting and financial reporting experience, preferably with exposure to complex transactions.
• Background in public accounting, ideally within a Big 4 firm, with a focus on regulatory compliance and technical interpretation.
• In-depth knowledge of GAAP and IFRS, with proven ability to apply standards to business contexts.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Previous experience in the software, technology, or semiconductor sector is a plus.
