Manager, Data Engineer

This role offers the opportunity to lead and deliver high-impact data engineering and analytics projects that bridge business strategy and technical execution. You will oversee enterprise-scale data platforms, pipelines, and cloud-native solutions while collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive data modernization, AI enablement, and digital transformation initiatives. The ideal candidate combines strategic vision with hands-on technical expertise, mentoring teams, influencing clients at executive levels, and shaping scalable data solutions. This position requires experience with cloud platforms, advanced data engineering tools, and consulting engagements, along with the ability to manage project delivery and foster continuous innovation in a dynamic, client-focused environment.

• Lead complex client engagements in data engineering, analytics, and digital transformation from strategy through hands-on implementation.
• Advise C-level and senior stakeholders on data strategy, architecture, governance, and technology adoption to drive measurable business value.
• Architect and implement enterprise-scale data platforms, ETL/ELT pipelines, and cloud-native solutions across platforms such as Azure, AWS, Snowflake, and Databricks.
• Oversee and optimize data integration, quality, and governance frameworks for large-scale organizations.
• Translate business objectives into actionable technical roadmaps, ensuring solutions are innovative, scalable, and operationally excellent.
• Mentor and develop technical teams, fostering a culture of continuous learning and high performance.
• Drive business development by contributing to proposals, client pitches, and thought leadership initiatives.

• 8+ years of experience in data engineering, data architecture, or analytics consulting, including at least 2 years in a leadership or management role.
• Proven ability to lead client-facing projects and influence executives.
• Deep hands-on experience with Python, SQL, Spark, Databricks, and modern data engineering tools.
• Expertise in cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, GCP, and Snowflake.
• Strong understanding of data modeling, ETL/ELT processes, data governance, and regulatory compliance (e.g., GDPR, IFRS17).
• Experience enabling analytics, BI, and AI/ML initiatives in complex environments.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Data Analytics, Azure Data Engineer, Databricks, Snowflake) are a plus.
• Ability to travel based on client needs.
