Full Stack Software Engineer - Billing Team

You will work across frontend and backend technologies, integrating with multiple internal and external systems to ensure accuracy, reliability, and compliance in financial operations. The role involves designing, building, and maintaining high-scale, distributed systems while collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize customer experience. You will have ownership over key processes, implement secure and efficient solutions, and help shape the technical direction of the platform. Accountabilities

• Design, develop, and maintain the billing and metering platform for cloud services.
• Implement mission-critical processes that ensure accuracy, reliability, and compliance in billing operations.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to define business strategies, user needs, and optimal solutions.
• Integrate the platform with external systems such as billing, metering, logging, monitoring, and support tools.
• Build secure, efficient, and highly available frameworks that abstract infrastructure complexity.
• Provide technical leadership on projects, influencing design decisions and sharing expertise with peers.

• 5+ years of professional software development experience building cloud-based frontend and backend systems.
• Hands-on experience leading and shipping large-scope technical projects with cross-functional engineering teams.
• Proficiency with technologies such as TypeScript, Node.js, React, Serverless frameworks, ECS, SQS, and MongoDB.
• Familiarity with billing concepts, including credit card processing, usage-based billing, CSP marketplaces (AWS, GCP, Azure), invoicing, sales tax, auditing, and record-keeping.
• Experience designing, building, and operating high-scale, distributed systems throughout the full software lifecycle.
• Expertise with public cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and their IaaS offerings.
• Strong problem-solving, production debugging, communication, and collaboration skills.
• High ownership, accountability, and ability to thrive in fast-paced environments.
