ETL/SSIS Developer/Application Analyst

This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for an ETL/SSIS Developer/Application Analyst in the United States.

This role offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic, remote environment supporting the full lifecycle of business and IT application projects. You will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimizing ETL/SSIS solutions, troubleshooting production issues, and ensuring high-quality deliverables. The position requires collaboration with cross-functional teams, mentoring junior staff, and directly supporting end-users through training and guidance. You will contribute to enhancing application efficiency, data integrity, and operational performance while gaining exposure to cutting-edge technologies and business processes.

• Accountabilities:
• Develop, enhance, and maintain custom and off-the-shelf applications, with a focus on ETL/SSIS processes.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, identifying root causes and implementing technical solutions.
• Engage with project sponsors to understand business objectives and deliver solutions aligned with their needs.
• Conduct quality testing, including data validation, system functionality, and process integrity.
• Provide training and guidance to end-users on applications and new system functionality.
• Create and maintain technical and functional documentation for systems and processes.
• Generate ad-hoc reports and support data-driven decision-making.
• Mentor and cross-train team members to ensure knowledge transfer and continuity.
• Requirements:
• High school diploma or GED; Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a related field preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in application development or configuration roles.
• Strong ETL/SSIS experience; C# console applications and .NET development experience preferred.
• Solid SQL skills, including creating and maintaining stored procedures.
• Familiarity with automated scheduling tools such as Cisco Tidal preferred.
• Ability to multitask, act independently, and resolve problems under pressure.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with an aptitude for training and mentoring.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.
• Ability to work remotely with a secure internet connection and private workspace.
• U.S. Citizenship or lawful permanent residency with eligibility to obtain and maintain government security clearance.
