Data Processing Specialist (Remote - US)

This role is ideal for detail-oriented professionals who excel in handling and verifying data in a fast-paced environment. As a Data Processing Specialist, you will be responsible for accurately reviewing, entering, and maintaining information across multiple systems while ensuring data integrity and compliance with privacy regulations. Working remotely, you will collaborate with internal teams to resolve discrepancies, streamline processes, and maintain operational accuracy. This position requires strong analytical and organizational skills, a proactive mindset, and the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently.

Accountabilities

·         Accurately input, review, and process data from various sources into internal databases, systems, and spreadsheets.

·         Verify and validate order information to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with established protocols.

·         Perform routine audits and data integrity checks to maintain consistency across systems.

·         Identify and resolve discrepancies by coordinating with relevant internal teams.

·         Provide clear feedback on process improvements and assist in resolving operational roadblocks.

·         Uphold strict confidentiality and compliance with privacy regulations such as HIPAA.

·         Maintain consistent productivity and communication in a fully remote work environment.

·         High School Diploma or equivalent required; a Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field is preferred.

·         1–3 years of experience in laboratory accessioning or a similar data processing role.

·         Proven ability to work independently in a remote setting while meeting productivity and accuracy standards.

·         Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management skills.

·         Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.

·         Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

·         Familiarity with Salesforce and understanding of HIPAA regulations are strong advantages.

·         Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
