Customer Success Manager - Commercial Markets

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Customer Success Manager to drive adoption and value realization for commercial clients across sectors such as agriculture, insurance, and energy. In this role, you will manage and expand customer relationships, ensuring clients maximize the impact of geospatial and remote sensing solutions within their workflows. You will act as a trusted advisor, advocate for customer needs internally, and collaborate closely with sales, product, and marketing teams. This position combines strategic account management, technical expertise, and proactive problem-solving to deliver measurable outcomes. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, remote work environment, balancing customer engagement with internal collaboration to support growth and innovation.


Accountabilities:
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with commercial customers, ensuring successful adoption and integration of geospatial solutions.
  • Identify expansion opportunities within accounts and collaborate with sales teams to drive renewals and upsells.
  • Facilitate onboarding, training, and best practices to optimize customer workflows and outcomes.
  • Act as the voice of the customer internally, advocating for product enhancements and strategic improvements.
  • Partner with internal teams to support case studies, events, and customer initiatives.
  • Share insights on account health and contribute to strategies for ongoing commercial success.
  • Travel as needed (approximately 10% domestically or internationally) to support customer engagement.
Requirements:
  • 6+ years of experience in customer success, account management, or related roles.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; advanced technical understanding of GIS, remote sensing, or geospatial products.
  • Proven ability to navigate complex commercial organizations and decision-making processes.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, proactive work style, and ability to work independently.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with global clients.
  • Experience in agriculture, energy, or other commercial verticals is a plus.
  • 2+ years of technical experience with remote sensing platforms or GIS is highly desirable.
