Cloud Engineer (US)

As a Cloud Engineer, you will design, implement, and manage scalable cloud infrastructure solutions for multiple client projects in a fast-paced, fully remote environment. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure optimized cloud architectures, deployment pipelines, and operational stability. This role involves hands-on engineering with Kubernetes, Terraform, and cloud platforms such as AWS or GCP, while contributing to documentation, knowledge sharing, and best practices. You will monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve infrastructure issues, supporting both professional services and managed services teams. • Accountabilities:
• Design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure using Terraform, Kubernetes, and cloud services (AWS, GCP).
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools such as ArgoCD, GitLab, GitHub, or Codefresh.
• Monitor and resolve issues in cloud environments using Datadog, Grafana, CloudWatch, or ELK stack.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish best practices and optimize cloud operations.
• Document infrastructure, application environments, and processes to support team knowledge.
• Actively communicate project progress and updates via Jira and other project management tools.
• Respond to escalations and provide engineering solutions for product, service, or technical inquiries.
• Requirements:
• Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Helm, and Terraform.
• Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes or Rancher.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms, preferably AWS or GCP (minimum 2 years).
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and related tooling (ArgoCD, GitLab, GitHub, Codefresh).
• Skilled in monitoring and observability tools (Datadog, Grafana, CloudWatch, ELK stack).
• Comfortable handling complex and ambiguous technical problems.
• GCP Professional Cloud Architect Certification or willingness to obtain within 90 days.
• Strong collaboration, communication, and adaptability skills in remote teams.
