Building Products Manager (Remote - US)

This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of A.C.Coy Company. We are currently looking for a Building Products Manager in the United States.

We are seeking a highly driven Building Products Manager to lead the commercialization of innovative carbon composite building products across key markets. This role will drive go-to-market strategies, build strong industry relationships, and expand sales and distribution channels. You will partner closely with cross-functional teams, including R&D and engineering, to ensure new product launches meet customer needs and regulatory standards. The position requires a balance of strategic vision and hands-on execution, making it ideal for an entrepreneurial leader with deep industry expertise. This is a remote role with occasional travel, offering an exciting opportunity to influence growth in the building products sector.

Accountabilities:

  • Develop and manage comprehensive go-to-market plans, including pricing, positioning, and sales enablement.
  • Identify and prioritize market segments, customer needs, and product value propositions.
  • Build and maintain relationships with customers, contractors, architects, builders, and distributors.
  • Establish and expand sales channels and distribution networks, while training and supporting sales reps.
  • Lead product launch execution through marketing campaigns, trade shows, samples, and sales training.
  • Monitor competitive landscape, building codes, and regulatory requirements impacting product adoption.
  • Collaborate with R&D and engineering teams to align product development with market needs.
  • Oversee logistics, supply chain coordination, and ensure readiness for scalable product roll-outs.
  • Track and report key commercialization metrics, market trends, and recommend strategic adjustments.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (MBA preferred).
  • Minimum of 7+ years of experience in the building products industry (decking, siding, roofing, or related categories).
  • Proven track record of developing and executing commercialization strategies for new products.
  • Strong understanding of building product sales channels, contractor networks, and distribution logistics.
  • Familiarity with product specifications, building codes, testing requirements, and certifications.
  • Established network of customers, contractors, architects, and distributors.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience with composite or innovative building materials is a plus.
  • Background in startups, innovation groups, or growth-stage companies is advantageous.
  • Willingness to travel as required.
